Once Lynn set me up with a nice new look for my blog, I decided I get myself some nice new photos to go along with it.  Enter Justin Van Leeuwen: super-dad, mega-tweeter and one of the best photographers I know. Justin shot our family portrait – an image of my young family that I will treasure for the rest of my life.

Sex blogging is not as sentimental but it is jolly good times and I knew Justin could work his photo-magics to create something silly, flirtatious and of course…pantsless.

I meant to grab 'The Joy Of Cooking' but, meh...close enough. Photo by Justin Van Leeuwen.

Justin came up with the concept for the kitchen shot. Highly appropriate, because, as those of you who follow me on Twitter know – #GirlCantCook! Justin’s stylist, Catalina meticulously broke the eggs and burnt the breakfast in a far more attractive (and less fire-hazardous) way than I could manage.

Catalina also taught me to do cool model-y things, like standing on the tip of one toe to give my legs more definition and pilates, which is an exercise that involves tilting your pelvis back in a bootylicious way!

I know I should be posing right now, but this porn is INSANE! Photo by Justin Van Leeuwen

I don’t often invite dudes up to my bedroom at night…and this was no exception. That’s right, y’all! Justin took this picture in the broad light of day, with special lights and flashes and his mad skillz of picture-fying!

Justin has seen my underpants. And my fancy sex toy (in the box on the left). After this photo shoot, I feel that we have a special bond – like slightly inappropriate war buddies.

My mower brings all the boys to the yard! Photo by Justin Van Leeuwen

I don’t usually dress like this when I mow my lawn. I grunge it up in big, sloppy t-shirts, ratty shorts and The MoMs Big Fish Alaska baseball cap. For reasons I can’t fathom, my mower drag illicits frequent honk and hollaz from passing motorists. Who knew slovenly women covered in grass bits were so alluring!

At any rate, when Justin suggested a pantsless lawn mowing shot, I knew I HAD to do it, if only to test the public reaction. There was nary a hoot nor a holla’ during our photo shoot. Apparently “clean with make-up on” is not my hottest look. No matter.  The lack of catcalls made for a pleasantly calm working environment. The addition of popsicles made it that much better.

Hooray for new photos and pantslessness!  And a big, fat, thank you to Justin – I can’t wait for our next collaboration!

Thank you! Though Lynn and Justin deserve most of the credit. I had a few formless ideas which I relayed through random adjectives. Those two geniuses took that and turned it into all the pretty you see around here. :-)
